Splitting a Multi-Store PO in EDI

Introduction

It can occur where a certain trading partner will send in multi-store POs, but want one ASN per store. The following wiki explains how to enable the option to split POs for a particular mailbox.

Note: If the mailbox is direct to store, this option should not be activated.

Setup

In EDI go to:

  • Maintenance

  • Browse/Update Mailbox

Click on the mailbox and select "Mailbox Variable Settings - 1".

Insert a check mark under "Split Multi-Store PO".

Go back to the "Mailbox Settings" tab and select "Update/Exit. 

 

Splitting a PO

In EDI, go to:

  • Purchase Orders

  • Reports

  • Print Purchase Order(s)

The option to "Split PO" will now be activated.
