Setting up a New Printer

Setting up a New Printer

The following wiki explains how to add a new printer to the list of available printers that can be printed from JAS. Please note, that all
printers MUST be PCL compatible in order to print all formats of JAS reports. The PCL driver should be set up on all computers, including
the server, not the postscript driver. For example; Cannon printers do not have the options for PCL drivers. Therefore, any of the JAS
reports that preview in internet explorer will print in a smaller font and may have a blank page at the beginning.

Setup

Click on the Windows icon and select "Devices and Printers".

Click on "Add a printer".

Select "Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer".

Click on the appropriate printer to add and select "Next".

A message will appear as it adds the printer.

Click on "Next".

Once complete, click on "Finish".

Note: The user has the option to set this as the default printer.
