Introduction

This wiki explains how to set up the JAS icon on the desktop once JAS has been installed.  This allows easy access for all users.

Instructions to use SETJASICON.EXE to Create a JAS Icon on the Desktop

In the JAS directory:

  • Locate "setjasicon.exe"

Open this application and it will create a JAS icon on the desktop.

Note: If you do not have this program, please contact Jonar Customer Service to send the program to you.

Instructions for Manual Setup

Locate the JAS.exe program in the drive where JAS is stored.

  • Right click on JAS.exe

  • Click on Sent to

  • Click on Desktop (create shortcut)

 

 

The icon that will appear will look like a Fox head.

To change the little picture to the JAS logo, follow the instructions below.


 

  • Right click on the fox head.

 

  • Highlight Properties.


 

Click on the Change Icon button.


 

  • Click on the Browse button.


 

 

  • Double click on the Bitmaps folder.


 

Highlight jasico2.ico and click the Open button.

The clarity of the icon will be adjusted depending on the screen resolution.


 

  • Click on OK.


 

  • Click on OK and the icon will be changed.
