Resolving the Error Message 1440 in JAS
Introduction
It can occur where the user will receive the following error message when printing invoices in JAS:
Error 1440
OLE exception error: Exception code c0000005. OLE object may be corrupt
Procedure mainreport
Line 334
Called from mainreport Line 345
The reason why this error message can occur is because the format that is set up for the customer is a format that does not exist. The following wiki explains how to change the format set up in the customer file to resolve the error message.
Setup
In the main JAS menu, go to:
- Customers
- Maintenance
- Add/Change

Enter the appropriate account number.
Click on "H Stat/Form". | |
Under forms, change the field to correspond to the appropriate letter.
Click on "Update".
The user can then go back to the invoicing menu and reprint the invoice. | |
