Reset Inventory Amounts For Make Styles

Introduction


The inventory on manufactured styles are not being tracked at this time. In order to be able to invoice styles without being blocked when there is insufficient inventory, the inventory values by size and color will need to be updated based on the parameters set up through this program. This wiki explains how to reset the inventory values to the highest available amounts per size buckets on make styles. This program will need to be run as part of the inventory maintenance. It is not designed to run automatically.

*** Please note that if a make style has been flagged as a clearance style in the user defined screen, these styles will not be updated.

Reset Inventory Values

Go to:

  • File
  • Alternate menu

Go to:

  • Styles
  • Reset Make Inventory To Minimums 


The selections:

  • "Reset When Stock by Size is below:" - The default value entered is 4000. When the stock for any make style/color that has inventory that is less than 4000 units in a size bucket, the inventory will be flagged in the program to be reset.
  • "Reset Size Stock To" - The default value entered is 5000. When the inventory for the style/color/size is flagged to be reset, the inventory will be adjusted to the value entered in this field.
  • "Do Not reset Style for User Field" -
    • There are make styles that are set up as a clearance style. Those styles will not be reset if the inventory falls below 4000 units per size.The user code for clearance styles is 000016. For more information on how to set up a style as a clearance style click here.
  • Warehouse - The default value entered is "CA". This represents the code that is being used for the Canadian warehouse.
  • Click the "Proceed" button.

The inventory on all of the "Make" styles that are not set up as a clearance style will be reset if they match the preset criteria entered.


Style Audit Report

The Audit Trail report can be run to view all of the adjustments that were done after this program has been run. To learn how to generate a style history report click here.
