Modifying the AR date in JAS

​Introduction

The following wiki explains ho​​​w to allow or prevent users to modify the AR date in JAS. 

 

Setup

In the main JAS menu, go to: Setup Installation Parameters Special Options
Select the "A/R" tab. "Ask for A/R date (A)lways (N)one (Y)invoice only": (A)lways will enable the user to enter an AR date (N)one will default the AR date to today's date (Y)invoice only will enable the AR date to be modified only at the time of invoicing.   Click on "Update" to save the latest changes made.

 

Sample

If (A)lways is selected,

The user will be able to modify the AR date at the time of order creation and invoice creation.

 

 
If (N)one is selected,

The user will not be able to modify the AR date at any point in JAS and the field will be listed in yellow.

 
If (Y)invoice only is selected,

The user will not be able to modify the AR date at the time of order creation, but will be able to at the time of invoice creation.
