Introduction
It can occur where a user will try to log into JAS and will receive the following message:
Maximum number of USERS exceeded
Explanation of this message
This message means that either:
The number of users logged into JAS are at its maximum, given the number of licenses
purchased.
Users have not logged out of JAS properly, causing sessions to be held open.
The following document explains how to clear inactive sessions that were not closed properly
and will also outline how to determine the number of users currently logged in.
Resolving this message
In JAS, access the Lock JAS program: Or press CTRL+L |
|
The "Guid" column shows which users are logged in. The "Logcount" column shows how many sessions that user has open. Select "Force Relog" to refresh the user count. |
|
The "Force Relog" and "Lock JAS" button will then be greyed out. Once the program has finished running, these buttons will then be reactivated. If you do not know how many JAS licenses your company has purchased, contact Jonar Support; jonar@jonar.com. Note: When you click on Relog, it can take a while for the program to check users who are connected to VJSI. |
