How to Change the Paths for JSI & JAS
Introduction
If any of the paths for JSI and/or JAS data have been changed, there is information in both JAS and JSI that must be changed in order for the integration to remain in tack. This affects the JAS bridge to JSI and the PO/Contractor Tracking receivings between JAS and JSI. The following document explains what needs to be changed.
What to change in JAS
In JAS go to:
- Specialx
- G/L Bridge
- Processing
- System Options-Chart Acct
Path for JSI System:
Enter the path where JSI is located
Path for JSI Chart of Accounts:
- Enter the path where the chart of accounts is entered for that data company
- Click on "Update".
- If there are multiple JAS data companies, repeat the process for each.
What to change in JSI
In JSI go to:
Click on the "G.Ledger" tab.
Click on the "General" tab.
JAS System Directory:
Enter the path to where the JAS directory is.
JAS Data Directory:
Change the path to where the new data folder for JAS for that data company is pointing to.
For example, if the data1 folder was in K:\AIMS\data1 and now in J:\JAS, it must be changed to J:\JAS\data1
