Explanation of the "Error 1" message in JAS

Explanation of the "Error 1" message in JAS

Introduction

It can occur where users try to receive a purchase order in JAS and receive an "Error 1" message, similar to the following:

Error 1
File "t:\jsi6\ap_recv.dbf" does not exist
SELECT QUICKDYE
Procedure init
Line 109

Explanation of this message

When the user attempts to receive a purchase order in JAS and it is integrated/linked to JSI, the program looks at the JSI directory. The message "File 't:\jsi6\ap_recv.dbf" does not exist' demonstrates the path that it is pointing to in the JSI directory,  (6 in this example), is no longer recognized by JAS. This indicates that something must have changed with the users' computer or server. For example, the user may have gotten a new computer and does not have the rights to the JSI folders or the path of the JSI folders have been mapped differently.

Instructions

Re-map the network drives for JAS and JSI on the computer receiving the error.
NOTE:  All users MUST have the same drive letter pathed for JSI.
