Audit Trail System in JAS

Audit Trail System in JAS

Introduction

The following Wiki explains how to use the Audit Trail System located in JAS. The Audit Trail System can be used to view any transactions and/or modifications that have been made to many areas in JAS. As an example, the following wiki shows how to view the history log for the Style Master file.

Setup

In the main JAS menu, go to:

  • Specialx
  • Audit Trail System
  • Audit Trail Report

If the user wishes to see all modifications made, the date range can remain blank. If not, please select a date range to shorten the audit being made.

In the field labelled Table, select the data table to be audited - in this case we chose Style.

If a user wants to see the audit trail for a particular style, click on the browse screen and select the appropriate style number.

If the "Style" field is blank, the report will run an audit trail for all styles.

Click the Proceed button to continue.

Sample Report

A report will be generated to list what was modified, by what user, and at what time.
