Accidentally Cancelling Lines on a PO
Introduction
It can occur where a user accidentally cancels lines on an SIT that is linked to a PO. Once these lines have been cancelled, it cannot be re-instated on the SIT. The following document explains how to resolve this.
Step 1: Modify the PO
Step 2: Modify the SIT to add back those units
In JAS go to: - P.O.
- Shipment In Transit Subsystem
- Processing
- Create/Modify Shipment

Enter the appropriate PO number. Click on "Status". | |
A message will appear asking if you want to reopen the shipment. Click on "Yes". | |
The status of the SIT will now be open. Click on "Lines". | |
Click on "Add". | |
Enter the appropriate PO number. | |
A screen will appear with the units on the PO. Select the appropriate line and click on "Proceed". | |
A new line will be added to the SIT. Click on "Update". | |
Select "Back to Header". | |
Click on "Exit". The user can then proceed with receiving the units, if applicable. |
